I have wanted to do a Disney inspired wedding shoot for so long! One day I can across this wedding dress at the local Salvation Army and picked it up, not knowing where I was headed with it. I played with a few ideas including considering dying it for a Halloween costume. While I was playing with it one day I realized that with a few adjustments it would be a very Belle like dress. Even better I have a friend who loves Beauty and the Beast and happens to look like Belle. Suddenly it all came together. Swann Plantation in Sevierville TN happened to be the perfect location for this styled shoot!
I invite you to join me as we step into a land where roses hold destiny, tea cups bounce into your hand calling you by name, books are cited word for word, adventure is in every step, and love is found in the darkest of people.
She dreamed of adventure and hoped the stories were true. She denied the lie that life would only be what was customary and expected of society. She wanted more.
Lost in a story-or was it a dream she stumbled upon something enchanted. Nothing seemed real, yet she felt more alive than ever. She took a risk and stepped in.
Before she knew it minutes became months and life had become more vibrant than she knew possible. The more stories she read the more she realized they were not just fiction but that the words were alive and energized. And love became real.
She continued to move past the judgements and perceptions of the world because she had seen what others were missing. Light in darkness, love in a barbarian.
Excitement, wonder and intrigue gripped her- but knowing she would go further than those who were blinded by their provincial circumstance, propelled her all the more.
The journey would not only draw her closer to her Love, but would build her strength, courage, and devotion.
