I met Eric and Taylor last Fall for their engagement photos and we laughed through the whole thing. At the end of the session Taylor told me she had chosen me because she got the impression I was quirky from my website (yes!) that made me so happy to hear!  We had a blast then and I knew that their wedding was going to be one to remember, and boy was it ever! Every moment was made for fun, memories, and dancing! The Standard Knoxville is such a fascinating wedding venue and photographing their has been a big dream of mine for some time, and it lived up to everything I had hoped for. I adore the color palette they chose for their big day and I feel like it is a very unique, but fitting selection of colors that pop wonderfully!

Taylor had a couple things “borrowed,” a grandmother’s ring and a friends Kate Spade tennis shoes from her wedding!

The bridal suite was everything you could dream of for getting ready, plenty of space, beautiful lighting and so many fun textures.

The iconic yellow doors of Knoxville. Sigh. I love how the color pops!

Their dessert bar was a modern brides dream! They had the traditional cutting cake and a bar of gourmet donuts from Duck Donuts! Everything from traditional cinnamon sugar, sprinkles, and chocolate, to oreo, PB&J, and a few bacon varieties of donuts, certainly something for every taste but.  This was a huge hit and was beyond adorable, as you can see!

If you are curious how well the doughnut bar went over, here is a little before and after.

The ceremony was beautiful and sweet, the golden light of the candles and Edison bulbs was the perfect romantic touch beside the smooth cement walls.

The party stayed pumping well into the night, I have never seen so many people dancing on one dance floor at a wedding! The DJ kept them on their feet and singing along!

I like how the Conley’s kept tradition mingled in through their very modern wedding. All the traditions were there but far from an old-fashioned feel.

A final dance, a kiss goodnight and a perfect night was capped off. Happily Ever after Taylor and Eric Conley!
