Enough cannot be said about how much teachers do! Not only the work, but the caring and dedication they put in to each child. Teachers play a huge role in our children’s lives and we really never say thank you enough.
A few months back I was considering how I could bring a lunch or do something for our teachers, I knew that I could not do all that I wanted to on my own and so I threw it on my list of “to do, one day when I have time to think about it.” No joke, within 2 weeks of that thought I was at Swann Plantation talking to Shari and she told me she wanted to do a teachers luncheon for Catlettsburg Elementary School! We set a date and got to work finding other parents, grandparents, and business owners who have the same heart of gratitude towards teachers. Along with thank you to each teacher and school staff, thank you to these awesome people and businesses as well:
Swann Plantation, Advantage Hair Salon, Longhorn Steakhouse, Chefs Catering, Olive Garden, Liquor & Wine of the Smokies (raffle gifts), and the students of Pathways 747 Youth for giving their day off to serve the teachers.
